How does the silent auction work?

An item is announced on offer a few days before the bid commencement date
Every bidding cycle term will be two or three months, during which, any interested parties are invited to submit their bid request through an e-mail to PCbid@banart.net
To ensure bidding integrity an invoice will be issued for two percent of the bid request (eg; for a $25,000 bid, a $500 bid deposit is required) and due upon issue–within Canada, it is payable by e-TRAN and-or for international parties the invoice can be issued through PayPal and paid with a major credit card
This two percent bid request deposit is non-refundable, but can be applied to another purchase or donated to the Trevor Project
Upon the bid closure date, the winning party will be contacted privately and delivery of the work will be arranged.
It will then be announced, unless the winning party prefers to remain anonymous

Prices listed are in Canadian currency, and are payable in any currency at the current exchange rate.

If your delivery address is with in 150KM of Union Station in Toronto (or in an urban centre easily accessible ie Kingston area, the Niagara Region, Ottawa area et al) any work purchased will be delivered personally with no shipping cost. For all other delivery areas, the insured shipping expense will be shared equally.
